Monday, March 5
Location: Room 2016, West Hall, 2nd Floor
Time: 6:00-9:00pm GDC

Attend a special screening of Indie Game: The Movie at GDC. The film follows the dramatic journey of four indie developers and IGF nominees/winners as they create and release their games to the world:

  • Designer Edmund McMillen and programmer Tommy Refenes await the release of their first major game for Xbox, Super Meat Boy.
  • At PAX, developer Phil Fish unveils his highly anticipated, four-years-in-the-making FEZ.
  • Jonathan Blow considers beginning a new game after creating Braid, one of the highest-rated games of all time.

Immediately following the film will be a panel moderated by former IGF host, Revision 3s Anthony Carboni. The panel will include all four of the film's featured developers, as well as first-time filmmaking duo, directors Lisanne Pajot and James Swirsky, who captured the emotional journey of these artists who devote their lives to their interactive art.
