Day of the Devs by iam8bit and Double Fine

10:00am - 5:00pm

North Hall, Lower Lobby

After a terribly long brainstorm, the soiree was named Day of the Devs - and quickly grew into a rather charming collection of so-called games made by self-proclaimed "independents." While their political affiliations are disputable, what's for certain is that Day of the Devs is a carefully curated set of games that inherently possess the highly coveted qualities of: Personality, Curiosity, Visuality and Really Good Hair. Come canoodle with a dozen super cool games, conveniently located adjacent to the terrifyingly long escalators... for the second year in a row!

The alt.ctrl.GDC 2017 Award winner, Fear Sphere, was a spine-tingling inflatable escape-room that players stepped inside and illuminated with a flasthlight that doubled as a portable video projector, while another player stood outside to help guide the sphere-engulfed player to safety.
