Whats New?

Open Booth Selection:
In lieu of a Career Pavilion this year, GDC is allowing recruitment companies the freedom to reserve any booth in the South and North Halls. This change was made from overwhelming feedback from previous Career Pavilion exhibitors and attendees who wanted the ability to have career discussions outside of the “stigmatism” of a designated Career area. This change is intended to increase the number of mid-senior level developers that will meet with exhibitors, as well as attract seasoned developers who are passive job seekers.

Career Exhibitor Promotion:
This year we are increasing the ways Career companies will be promoted. Promotion includes:

  • Exhibitor Listing on that can be filtered by Career
  • New Careers @ GDC page on that lists all Career Exhibitors, Sponsored Sessions and Career Opportunities
  • Online Floor plan with career booths shaded so they stand out from the pack
  • Who’s Hiring @ GDC Brochure listing all the companies recruiting at GDC, including booth number and available positions. The brochure will be downloadable via the GDC Mobile App prior to GDC, and distributed from special kiosks in North and South Halls onsite
  • Onsite GDC Event Guide distributed to attendees that list companies that are recruiting
