SGS GDC Opening Keynote Announced: Square Enix's Ichiro Otobe

Ichiro Otobe, chief strategist at Square Enix, will open the Serious Games Summit GDC with a keynote address Monday, March 5, at 9am. Otobe's talk, titled "Serious Games Squared," will detail the efforts, strategies, and risks that went into Square Enix's entry in the serious games sector. Otobe will also discuss the company's approach to reconcile commercial entertainment economics with the realities, challenges, and opportunities of the serious games industry. SGS GDC Sessions Announced

SGS GDCThe SGS GDC Advisory Board and the content team at CMP have now announced approximately 70% of the sessions for the upcoming Serious Games Summit conference. SGS GDC 2007 will take place Monday, March 5 and Tuesday, March 6 at the Moscone Convention Center North in San Francisco.
