Mark Cerny, Mike Capps headline GDC 2014 'Flash Forward' session

Passes for the Game Developers Conference 2014 are going fast, and today we're excited to announce a very special session that you'll want to know about.
This year we're kicking off GDC with the third annual "Flash Forward" session, starting at 9:30am on Wednesday, March 19.
This year the Flash Forward presenters have been hand-picked by the GDC Advisory Board, ensuring that the session will feature an eclectic mix of speakers that represents the full breadth of the conference. Those selected will have the chance to grab attendees' attention by taking the stage for a brief period of time -- 30-45 seconds, tops -- to present a rapid-fire overview of what their session is and why it's worth checking out.

The Flash Forward will provide audience members with the opportunity to hear what will be discussed in sessions taking place Wednesday-Friday from the mouths of those giving the talks, which should help attendees decide which talks best suit their interests. Plus, you can expect to be entertained by some of the biggest names and foremost experts in the games industry.
This year GDC Advisory Board members and game industry veterans Mark Cerny and Michael Capps return to headline the hour-long session, presenting their own take on the state of the industry before participating in what always proves to be fun, fast-paced event that highlights some of the best talks GDC 2014 has to offer.
If you're still on the fence, take a moment to watch the video recorded during last year's Flash Forward session at GDC 2013 on the GDC Vault.
All of the announced talks are now available in the online GDC 2014 Session Scheduler, where you can begin to build your conference week and later export it to the up-to-the-minute GDC Mobile App, coming soon.
Now in its 28th year, GDC is the world's largest and longest-running professionals-only game industry event, and will once again take place at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, California during March 17-21, 2014. You can register for the event by visiting the info page on the official GDC 2014 website.
