1st GDC Competition - Haiku Me!

FujiWe are trying to inject a bit more fun and creativity into your pre-GDC life this year -- with high hopes we are kicking off a set of irregular competitions for folks to join in and help celebrate the gathering's 20th anniversary. The first one is a "Contemporary English Haiku" competition. Read on for more information...

What you get:
1. GDC 2006 Audio Recordings CD set
2. Free annual subscription to Game Developer magazine's Digital Edition
3. Pride in knowing you are the best

Rules:
1. You must write and enter your Haiku as an individual -- sorry no teams or software on this one
2. The theme of your Haiku has to be about your experiences at or in relation to the GDC
4. One entry per person
5. It must roughly be a Haiku, follow 5 - 7 - 5 syllables, and be in English. More on Haiku -- read here.
6. You must email your Haiku by 11:59PM PST on November 15, 2006.
7. Your entry must include your full name, mailing address, email address and phone number.
8. By entering you are explicitly giving GDC/CMP the right to post your entry on this site even if you don't win.

Judging:
1. One winner will be selected by our crack team of poetry judges.
2. Winner and runner ups will be announced and notified by November 21st, 2006.

So get writing and e-mail mygdc@gdconf.com your best Haiku that describes GDC for you.
