Would-be GDC speakers, take note: Conference organizers would like to remind you that the call for submissions to present Main Conference talks, roundtables, and panel sessions for Game Developers Conference 2015 ends tomorrow, Thursday, August 28 at 11:59 PM Pacific.
GDC GM Meggan Scavio has issued a call for more diversity at GDC, and that goes for speakers as well as attendees. GDC organizers are ready to field submissions from the best and brightest in the industry, so if you have a good idea for a GDC talk, now is the time to submit it.
In addition, some of the GDC Advisory Board members have shared some advice for pitching a GDC talk in an effort to help you in the submission process.
Organized by the UBM Tech Game Network, GDC is the game industry's most comprehensive and longest-running professional development event, where game developers converge for a week of learning, networking, and inspiration. GDC 2015 will take place March 2nd-6th, 2015, at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, California.
The GDC 2015 advisory board is looking for Main Conference submissions for the Audio, Business, Marketing & Management, Design, Production, Programming, Advocacy, and Visual Arts tracks. You may submit your session proposals via the official GDC website. GDC 2015 Summit submissions will open in September.
