See how the striking art of Aztez was crafted at GDC 2015

If you're an independent developer there are few better places to turn for support than your fellow indies, and few better places to meet a broad swath of them than the Game Developers Conference.

At GDC 2015 next month, you can attend "The Art of Aztez" to get an in-depth look at the art production of the highly-stylized game from core artist and combat designer Ben Ruiz.

Ruiz will showcase the creator's inspirations, expose the attendees to the inherent challenges of the style, and reveal the black magic that allowed an individual full-time artist to fill the roles of many on a title action game scope.

Attendees will get a personal look at the game's aesthetic and technical guts, see the solutions first hand, and (hopefully!) walk away inspired to go big on their own independent games -- regardless of their team size.

A list of all announced talks is available in the online GDC 2015 Session Scheduler, where you can begin to build your conference week and later export it to the up-to-the-minute GDC Mobile App, coming soon.

GDC 2015 itself will take place March 2-6 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. For more information on GDC 2015, visit the show's official website, or subscribe to regular updates via FacebookTwitter, or RSS.
