Advance online registration for next week's conference has now closed, but you can still register onsite at the registration desks in the North Hall of San Francisco's Moscone Convention Center. The registration area is open for varying lengths of time from Sunday through Friday, March 16-21, and you can find the exact hours on the GDC 2014 Registration page.

With Game Developers Conference 2014 just around the corner, I thought it would be a good time to remind everyone of a certain set of rules we have established for the event. Last year, we formalized the GDC Code of Conduct, and I'd like you to take a moment to familiarize yourself with the details.
Our intention is for GDC to be a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for all regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, or religion.
We will not tolerate behavior that suggests otherwise.

Wild Rumpus reveals 'Mild Rumpus' game lineup for GDC 2014

The 28th annual Game Developers Conference kicks off next week, and we're excited to announce that indie video game showcase collective Wild Rumpus is coming back to GDC 2014 following the success of last year's 'Rumpus Royale MMXIII' indie game world championship event, which featured titles like Beau Blyth's Samurai Gunn and Ramiro Corbetta's sporty Hokra.
This year's exhibit has been rechristened the 'Mild Rumpus' and will be a wholly different beast -- a special low-key lounge space on the second floor of Moscone West that will be open to all GDC 2014 passholders during conference hours Monday through Friday, March 17-21st.

With less than two weeks remaining before the Game Developers Conference 2014, show organizers are detailing the lineup of the ever-popular Experimental Gameplay Workshop, which returns to GDC for its 12th year.
This jam-packed two-hour session -- which takes place Friday, March 21 at 2:30pm in Room 135 of the San Francisco Moscone Center's North Hall -- will showcase an eclectic mix of unusual game prototypes that defy convention and explore new ideas and genres.

Deathmatch with John Romero, Table Draw join GDC 2014

Passes for the Game Developers Conference 2014 are still available, and today we're excited to announce more details about a few cool floor exhibits that will be open to all GDC passholders (from Expo to All-Access) at various points during the week of the 2014 Game Developers Conference, March 17-21.
Starting on Monday, March 17th, GDC is proud to host "Deathmatch with John Romero," a designated area where attendees will be able to drop in at any time to play FPS classic Doom with up to seven other attendees, with select appearances by Doom co-creator John Romero himself and other special guests.
