Learn how to succeed in VR from those who have done it at VRDC Fall 2017!

Virtual Reality Developers Conference officials are intent on putting together a fantastic VRDC Fall 2017 event. Today they want to highlight some great sessions you can take part in during the show -- which is happening September 21-22 at a bigger, better venue in San Francisco!

One of the key missions for VRDC is bringing attendees together with industry leaders who have achieved success in the VR/AR/MR industries. To that end, organizers are keen to highlight some VRDC Fall 2017 sessions that aim to deliver practical learnings gleaned from those who have been there and done that.

For example, Survios' Chief Creative Officer James Iliff and Design Director Mike McTyre will be giving a great "VR Game Development: Dev Hacks & New Analytics from 'Raw Data'" talk at VRDC Fall 2017.

In their talk, the two creators of the game Raw Data will share the lessons learned from building the VR title, how they were able to find dev hacks to save time and money (both of which are precious!) and insights and analytics about gameplay.

Plus, Vertigo Games lead programmer Trevor Blom will be at VRDC Fall 2017 to talk about "Looking Back at the VR Development of 'Arizona Sunshine' and 'Skyworld'." Both games have been early standout hits, so come hear about the incredible journey which was the development of Arizona through Unity, VR, CPU and GPU optimizations, all while maintaining that target of hitting 90fps and making an immersive and realistic game in the process.

You can expect to learn how some features of 'Arizona Sunshine' and 'Skyworld' have been made in Unity ranging from low-end to high-end PC's and Playstation VR. Additionally you will walk away with a better understanding of how to profile and optimize a VR game with Unity, and how you can use that to deliver a more immersive VR experience!

Also, while you're at the show make sure to make time to check out the "How to Be a Successful VR Game Studio" talk that Playful Corp. founder and chief Paul Bettner is giving at VRDC Fall 2017.

It's well worth seeing because Playful has proven to be one of the enduring successes of the modern VR industry, having broken ground early on with the Oculus Rift launch game Lucky's Tale.

And of course, VRDC Fall 2017 organizers look forward to announcing many more talks for the event in the weeks to come. Don't forget to register early at a discounted rate!

Since tickets sold out for the first three VRDC events, VRDC Fall 2017 will offer more sessions and move to a bigger location at the Hilton Union Square in San Francisco, CA September 21-22.
