A great pitch can secure the future of your studio, or ensure your awesome game has the resources to reach adoring fans. At GDC Pitch, game developers will pitch to an opinionated panel of investors and publishers, in front of a live audience. No pressure! After a standing-room only inaugural edition last year, Jason Della Rocca of investment platform Execution Labs, is back to host.
Ten selected teams will each get 5–minutes to pitch, followed by questions, advice, and feedback from the judges. The judges will declare a "Best Pitch" on each day, and award a complimentary All Access pass to GDC 2018.
Studios that register to exhibit their game in GDC Play can select the GDC Pitch box found in the GDC Business Matchmaking software to be considered for inclusion in the GDC Pitch line-up. A panel of veteran GDC organizers and Gamasutra editors will make the selections, and studios will be informed by February 6th, 2017. There is no additional cost to submit to GDC Pitch.
Selected studios will be given the opportunity to have pitch prep and training with Jason Della Rocca, and will be given very strict format instructions and rules. Each selected team will be slotted on one of the days (ie, you only pitch once).
