GDC Taipei Summit 2013 announced for Dec 5-6, call for talks open

The call for submissions to present talks for the GDC Taipei Summit 2013 is open from now until October 8.
GDC Taipei Summit 2013, now in its second year, is organized by Gamasutra parent UBM Tech in association with UBM Asia, also co-creators of the recent GDC China event.
The event will be held at the Taipei International Convention Center on December 5-6, 2013, and continues to be the premier professional conference for the creators of games and interactive entertainment in Taiwan.
Submissions are welcomed on a wide range of topics:

Future of Gaming:
▪ Cross Platform
▪ Cloud Technology and Application
▪ Application of Games Technology (Educational Kids Games, Games for Rehab and so on)
Industry Development:
▪ The Future of E-Sports
▪ Improving the Public Image of Games and Company
▪ Game Ratings
▪ Global Marketing
Game Development:
▪ Visual Arts and Music
▪ Game production and design
▪ Mobile Game
▪ Gamer Psychology & Data Analysis
The first GDC Taipei Summit attracted more than 660 professionals from home and abroad. Some of the most notable sessions included Ngmoco's Ben Cousins predicting the death of consoles within 5-10 years, Square Enix on avoiding large-scale internal development after Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Epic CEO Tim Sweeney on platform convergence and freemium being the inevitable future.
