How do I contact a "live" person for registration help and information?
What is the cost of admission?
There are a number of different passes available for a variety of prices, depending on what parts of the GDC you want to see. For details about these passes and prices, visit our Passes & Prices
I've just registered online, when will I receive my receipt and confirmation?
If you registered and paid online, the final page of the registration process is your receipt and confirmation. Please make certain to make a copy of your receipt for expense purposes as well as any follow-up with the GDC Registration Department. If you printed an invoice and submitted it with your check payment, we will email you a confirmation and receipt, once your registration is received and processed. Online registration without payment does NOT secure the Alumni or Early registration discount. Email email@example.com
Why do I have to create a unique log in and password for my registration?
For your privacy and protection we require anyone registering online to create a unique login for access to their registration. Having a login allows you online access to your receipt, pass selection and information about your registration.
What are the IGDA member discounts for GDC registration?
I have forgotten my IGDA membership number, how can I obtain it?
You can obtain your membership number by contacting the IGDA via phone at (856) 423-2990 or email.Please be aware that the IGDA is not related to the GDC Registration Department.
How do I register a Group?
To take advantage of our group discount, your group must consist of 10 or more attendees from the same company and they must be registered at the same time. Additional registrations from the same company added at a later date will not be entitled to the group discount unless they are submitted under the same terms & conditions described here:

The group discount of 10% is only valid off the current registration price, including early discount registrations for All Access Pass, GDC Conference+Summits Pass, GDC Conference Pass, and GDC Summits Pass. No other passes are entitled to the 10% group discount. Additional discounts, such as Alumni, exhibitor or other special discounts are not combinable with the group discount.

When do I receive my badge?
Badges will not be mailed in advance of the event. Please pick up your badge in person, on-site with your photo ID. Collecting multiple badges by a single person is not allowed. Please bring a copy of your receipt as verification of your registration. Touch 'N Go NFC badges will be in use at GDC 2018.
PLEASE TREAT YOUR BADGE/BADGE HOLDER AS CASH: Both the badge and badge holder are required for entry at GDC 2018. A non-refundable replacement fee equal to the original purchase amount will apply to all lost, duplicate, misplaced, stolen, or forgotten badge/badge holder requests. If your badge was complimentary, the fee will be the current on-site rate.
What is the address of the Moscone Convention Center?

Where can I find GDC session recordings after the conference is over?
GDC Vault contains thousands of hours of GDC content, available to attendees with All Access or GDC Conference+Summits pass through March 2019. For more information, please visit gdcvault.com
Where can I find a schedule of conference sessions?
Conference sessions will be posted continually starting in October 17. Scheduling information will be available in late January.
Can I access conference information through the GDC mobile app?
The GDC Mobile App can be downloaded to an iPhone or Android device through the App store.
I would like to speak at the conference. How do I submit a proposal?

Are there specific subjects that I should submit speaking proposals for?
The GDC 2018 Call for Submissions is closed. Please check the respective Call for Submissions pages

Can I bring my child to the GDC?
Yes! While no one under the age of 18 (including infants in strollers) is allowed to attend the program, the Game Developers Conference is excited to be able to provide on-site child care services. Please visit the KiddieCorp website

Is there a location in the convention center where I can nurse in a private room?
Nursing mothers may find privacy in the Moscone South Hall, Room 310.
Americans with Disabilities Act - How can I request assistance?
If you require special assistance, auxiliary aids, interpreters or other reasonable accommodations while at the conference and/or expo, please contact Jessica De Robinson

How do I access the Internet at the GDC?
Wireless Access is available in the lobbies and session halls of the North, South, and West Halls during the show.
There is no technical support for the Wireless Access.
If I am an international attendee, do I need a visa to attend the conference?
How do I obtain a Letter of Invitation?
Letters of Invitation are usually only required by foreigners who must obtain a VISA in order to attend the conference.
- All persons who require a Letter of Invitation to attend the conference must be registered and paid in full.
- Letters of Invitation will only be issued to the registrant and only after the registration is paid in full.
- Letters of Invitation are only issued in the name of the registrant.
- Additional documentation may be required in order to complete the letter of invitation and verify your payment. Failure to provide the requested documentation by the specified date may result in the fees previously paid being reversed or returned.

Is filming and recording allowed onsite at the conference?
Legitimate news media with approved credentials and media badges whose only intention is to gather film clips for a newscast can receive special clearance to film onsite at the Moscone Convention Center, with restrictions.
Please note that there are strict limitations (even for media badge holders) for filming or recording at the Moscone Center including but not limited to filming or recording of GDC content/sessions.
Documentary film crews are not considered legitimate news media and therefore union regulations require hiring a Local 16 IATSE representative, in addition to gaining filming approvals from the GDC organizers via firstname.lastname@example.org
