Come to GDC 2015 for expert tips on leading high-performance dev teams

If you've ever worked at a big game company, you know that managing and supporting high-performance teams in this industry is a full-time job.
Ubisoft Montreal's Madelaine Beermann has years of leadership experience in just such a job, and in March she'll be giving an expert talk on "Leading High-Performance Teams" at GDC 2015.

Beermann will demonstrate how good leadership and people skills can change the course of a project while bad leadership can be a cause of failure to projects, causing monetary loss and harming your company as a whole.
She believes our investment in building up leaders in the industry who are able to carry the flag and push their teams to the limit without damaging them is still too low, and during her talk she'll run down three trainable skills and six tools you can immediately start using to inspire your team to new heights.
Beermann's talk and many others can be perused on the list of all announced talks available now in the online GDC 2015 Session Scheduler, where you can begin to plan out your conference week and later export it to the up-to-the-minute GDC Mobile App, coming soon.
In the months ahead, conference officials look forward to announcing many more GDC 2015 sessions spanning a diverse array of game industry issues.
For now, don't miss the opportunity to save money by registering early -- the deadline to register for passes at a discounted rate is January 21, 2015. GDC 2015 itself will take place March 2-6 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
