Get practical game career advice from Naughty Dog at GDC Europe

We're less than a month away from GDC Europe, and today GDC officials are happy to announce two more exciting talks from industry experts for the August conference.

Both of these sessions showcase the importance of practical game business learnings at GDC Europe, which will take place August 3rd and 4th in Cologne, Germany.

No matter what kind of games you're making or how you're making it, there's sure to be something on the GDC Europe Business track of talks that will help you advance your career.

For example, Naughty Dog's Candace Walker will be taking the stage during the show to talk about how the company responsible for games like The Last Of Us and the upcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief's End finds the best new hires in the age of social media. Attend her "Career Bootcamp: The Benefits of Building an Online Presence and How To Do It" talk to learn firsthand how canny use of social networks can boost your game industry career.

Also, don't miss experienced games PR consultant Thomas Reisenegger's talk on doing PR as a small team, "Everyone Can Do PR - How Small Studios Get Themselves Heard."

Reisenegger works at ICO Partners, which has done PR for everyone from Riot Games to Sega and Swing Swing Submarine, so he'll be tapping that experience to show you how to do basic PR for your game launch, which communications platforms are best-suited to your needs, and the basics of doing your own guerrilla marketing.

You can find more details on these and all other announced talks on the GDC Europe Schedule Builder, which you can also use to start planning your schedule for the show.

And there's more to GDC Europe than just an all-star lineup of sessions, as the conference will also continue to offer business and matchmaking opportunities to all attendees with a developer-focused Expo Floor area and networking events throughout the show.
