Insomniac's engine chief shares tips on leading tech teams at GDC 2015

Hey Game Developers Conference 2015 attendees, have you recently been promoted to your first lead technical position in game development? Congratulations!
Now what?
Insomniac Games engine director Mike Acton is an expert on the subject, and in his "Great Management of Technical Leads" talk at GDC 2015 he'll lay out the entry-level expectations you need to know about.

Make time to attend his talk if you want to know what a lead needs to pay attention to, what responsibilities a lead has to his or her team, and how you can get things done in your new role. Leadership is hard, and Acton's talk should help provide guidance for newly-minted leads or refresh existing leads on the crucial responsibilities of their role. Look for it on the Business, Marketing and Management track of talks at GDC 2015.
If this isn't in your wheelhouse, don't worry -- conference organizers look forward to announcing more GDC 2015 sessions in the months ahead. In the meantime, don't miss your chance to save money by registering early -- the deadline to register for passes at a discounted rate is January 21, 2015. GDC 2015 itself will take place March 2-6 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
