Time to get in gear! The Game Developers Conference has once again partnered with the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition to offer a complimentary bicycle valet for GDC 2024 attendees.
The SF Bicycle Coalition will be managing a bike valet onsite free of cost for GDC attendees. It will be located in The Paseo Alleyway off 3rd Street between Howard and Folsom.

GDC has also partnered with the City Bike Share program to offer each attendee a $5 credit for classic bike and e-bike rentals during the week of GDC (March 18-22). The code is GDC2024 and can be redeemed in the Lyft app or Bay Wheels app under Rewards. Head here for a list of more options for rental bike services by the day or week.
Here are the hours of operation for GDC's bike valet:
Monday, March 18: 7:30am-7:00pm
Tuesday, March 19: 8:30am-7:00pm
Wednesday, March 20: 7:30am-9:00pm
Thursday, March 21, 9:00am-7:00pm
Friday, March 22: 9:00am-5:00pm
Moscone Convention Center has a dedicated bike lane in front (as seen in the image above), and attendees can consult this map to check out bike paths from their accommodations to the convention center. Several hotels in the area offer bicycles for guests, so definitely check with concierge to see if this is something that can be arranged.
Attendees are also encouraged to take public transportation through the MUNI or BART. Head here for a full list of travel options and services.
