Make time to play the 2015 Train Jam games at GDC 2015

Earlier this year a group of developers took advantage of a multi-day train ride from Chicago to attend the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco by participating in the first-ever Train Jam, a 52-hour game jam held aboard an Amtrak train with limited connectivity.
Next year the Train Jam organizers are going to do it all again, and GDC officials are proud to support their efforts by providing a dedicated space at the show where organizers will be displaying select games made during the jam.

18 unique games were borne from this year's inaugural Train Jam, which saw experienced game makers working alongside fledgling developers in close quarters with little contact from the outside world.
Next year's jam promises to be bigger and better, with tools and equipment provided by sponsors like Unity, YoYo Games and Karma -- so make time in your GDC 2015 schedule to stop by the Train Jam booth and check out their hard work!
Regular tickets to be part of Train Jam are currently sold out, but there's a student program still in process which includes "one Coach-Class ticket on the train, access to all sponsor provided jam benefits, and one GDC Expo Pass graciously provided by GDC organizers."
Conference officials look forward to announcing many more GDC 2015 interactive spaces and exhibits in the months ahead. For now, don't miss the opportunity to save money by registering early -- the deadline to register for passes at a discounted rate is January 21, 2015. GDC 2015 itself will take place March 2-6 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
